After over 17 years at Barden Community Association, the time has come to move on. A reorganisation of the schools in the Burnley area means that our present facility will be unavailable very soon.

We are pleased to announce that we have agreed to join a brand new facility just 100 yards away from our existing club. Our last session at Barden will be Friday 3rd March 2006. Our aim is to be up and running at our new venue very quickly - our first session will be on Wednesday 8th March 2006.

But, I hear you say, where is this new venue. Well, here it is; Energise Dance Studio, opposite Barden MillWe will publish photos very soon.

It is with great pleasure that we announce a new Black Belt at Burnley Judo Club. Michael Demaine, club coach, has been with Burnley Judo Club for many years now and joins the growing list of Black Belts at our club. He attained the required points at the grading in November and recently completed the theory element.
Mark Walsh, Senior Club Coach, and Ron Hardaker, Club Coach, made the presentation to Michael on Friday. Photos of this presentation will be available soon.

19 of us descended on Burnleys AMF Bowling last night for our first annual bowling night. Congratulations must go to Karl Waddington with a score of 242 across both games (although he does coach bowling in his spare time!) and to Lisa Baldwin (187 across both games).
